Adoption assistance

Tuition program

The firm reimburses up to $5,000 each calendar year in tuition, book and lab fees for associates pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in subjects that apply to potential Edward Jones career paths.

  • You must be employed by Edward Jones as a full-time associate for the past 12 consecutive months or longer prior to the first class session and be actively employed in a full-time position at the time reimbursement is made.
  • Client support team professionals and home office associates: You must be in Good Standing (last performance rating must be meets or above).
  • Financial advisors1: Your branch must be Bonus Eligible. In addition, your current performance must be rated "Meeting Expectations" or "Exceeding Expectations." And, you must be in Good Standing with FADS, Compliance and Associate Relations.

The guidelines for reimbursement will vary based on your role at the firm:

  • Client support team professionals: You are eligible for tuition reimbursement for academic courses, For Professional Designations please see WEB608026.
  • Home office associates: Attainment of the professional designation must be strongly recommended for your current position. If the designation is required for the position, please see your leader.
  • Financial advisors1: All approved designations are reimbursed via Financial Advisor Training's Advanced Training Program, which is separate from the firm's tuition benefit. Please review WEBID097972.

Financial resources

An EAP specialist can connect you with financial specialists to support you with money management, debt, credit, home purchasing, student loan counseling, education on common tax issues, and investment and retirement strategies. All vetted financial specialists are also qualified to provide information and educational tips on preventing identity theft and how to proceed when it is suspected.

Legal information and resources

You and your family members can access a nationwide network of attorneys for a free 30-minute phone or local attorney consultation for any legal matter (with the exception of business issues and disputes or actions against your employer). Topics include concerns such as divorce, custody, adoption, real estate, debt and bankruptcy, landlord/tenant issues, civil and criminal actions, and more. If you require legal representation, receive discounted fees to retain a lawyer. You'll also have access to other legal resourceson the EAP website.
