Mindfulness

Emotional health is more than just a feeling, a reaction or stress. It includes our social well-being, how we act and feel and how we respond to and handle stressors. Learning how to cope with daily stressors and developing resiliency to life changing events is important and essential to maintain emotional health.

Mindfulness is the practice of purposely focusing your attention on the present moment—and accepting it without judgment. Mindfulness is now being examined scientifically and has been found to be a key element in stress reduction and overall happiness.
