Employee Assistance Programs and Resources

Life can be stressful–both at work and at home. That is why Edward Jones has partnered with Anthem to offer all full-time associates and their family members an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to help manage life's challenges. The program contains a wide range of services and resources including: social and emotional support, legal and financial guidance, work-life solutions and more.

EAP resources are available at no cost and are strictly confidential. The program is staffed by experienced clinicians who are reachable by phone or online 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Here are just a few examples of the types of support and resources available:

  • Counseling
  • Legal Consultation
  • Financial Resources
  • Dependent Care and Daily Living Resources

Well-being articles, podcasts, and monthly webinars, as well as self-assessment tools for emotional health issues through the Anthem EAP site.

Counseling Sevices

Anthem provides up to eight free short-term counseling sessions in a year, with counselors in your area who can help you with your emotional concerns. Please call Anthem at 877-847-4525 to talk with a counselor.  When you call, you will speak with a trained professional, who will collect general information and talk with you about your needs. If the counselor determines that your issue can be resolved in the short-term, you will receive counseling through the EAP program.

Whether you are a new parent, a caregiver for an elderly parent, sending a child off to college, buying a new car, doing home repairs or moving, work-life specialists are available to help you find helpful information based on your situation.

Receive a 30-minute phone or in-person meeting with a legal professional to discuss concerns, such as divorce, custody, adoption, real estate, debt and bankruptcy, landlord/tenant issues, civil and criminal actions and more. If you require legal representation, receive discounted fees to retain a lawyer. You'll also have access to other legal resources, forms and seminars online.

Financial issues can arise at any time, from dealing with debt to saving for college. Discuss your concerns with a financial professional via phone, and benefit from free financial resources and budgeting tools online.

Access your Anthem EAP services anytime, anywhere from your computer, tablet or smartphone.
